How do I fix a light bulb that only works at a certain angle?

I have a light fixture in the ceiling of my basement that was working fine until recently. Now the light bulb will not glow unless I manually push it in one direction. If I let the bulb go then the light turns off. I’ve tried different bulbs but the problem must be the fixture or the socket. Any ideas? Thanks!
