Why didn’t my Japanese Cherry Blossom tree flower ?

I planted a young Cherry Blossom tree last year and it flowered when it was supposed to…….but now, it has no blossoms this season. My nieghborhood is full of them and I’ve noticed that those trees have all flowered over the past few weeks. What could be wrong with mine ?
